gates or sprues Speiser und Anschnitte Explanation: Mehr oder weniger aus dem Gedächtnis! S. Definitionen in Termium: Sprue: The vertical channel that connects the pouring basin with the runner. Gate: The channel or orifice through which material is injected from the sprue (or runner in a multicavity mould) into a mould cavity. Speiser dienen dazu, beim Erstarren des Flüssigmetalls die Schwindung durch Erkalten zu kompensieren. Speiser und Anschnitte bilden zusammen das so gen. Kreislaufmaterial, d.h. Stückchen, die vom Gussteil abgetrennt werden müssen. Da sie der gewünschten Legierung perfekt entsprechen, kann man sie oft gleich wieder in die Schmelze zurückgeben - daher Kreislauf. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 Stunde (2019-05-12 12:48:00 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Dein Angüsse statt Anschnitte ist übrigens besser.
