Moin,

könnte mir vielleicht jemand genau erklären was "wry" bedeutet? Ich bin soweit, dass ich verstanden habe, dass "a wry smile" ein schiefes lächeln ist. Jetzt hänge ich jedoch an einer Stelle fest in der ich "wry sigh" übersetzen muss:

"The silence held for several
heartbeats and then he expelled a wry sigh."

Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen?
