Στα cordate leaves (καρδιοειδή) ο μίσχος ενώνεται με το φύλλο στο σημείο της αιχμής. Στα obcordate leaves (αντικαρδιοειδή) η ένωση είναι στο σημείο της εσοχής. Αυτό επιχειρεί να περιγράψει το μάλλον ατυχές notched (αν κοιτάξουμε εικόνες φύλλων "notched leaves" θα δούμε πολλά οδοντωτά φύλλα, άσχετα με τα καρδιόσχημα). Αν λοιπόν πρέπει να δώσουμε επεξήγηση για το «αντικαρδιοειδή», θα πρότεινα «σαν καρδιά με την εσοχή στον μίσχο». Πιο σύντομη δεν βρίσκω, που να βγάζει και νόημα. |
