Without prejudice to the provisions of paragraphs 1 to 4, the discipline of apprenticeship contract is referred to inter confederal agreements or to the national collective labor agreements stipulated by the trade union associations comparatively more representative on the national plan, respecting, among others, the following principles:
a) piece rate ban;
b) presence of a guardian or company representative;
c) possibility of recognition based on results achieved in the training course, external and internal to the enterprise, professional qualification for contractual purposes and of the skills acquired for the continuation of studies as well as in the paths of instruction of the adults;
d) possibility of prolonging the apprenticeship period in case of illness, accident or other cause of inadvertent suspension of the work lasting more than thirty days;
e) possibility to define forms and modalities for confirmation in service, with no new or greater burden on public finance, al term of the training path, in order to further recruitment in apprenticeship.
