I never said that "Heritage" is the name of a town. I said that "Heritage Downtown" may be the name of a specific area in a specific town.

I'm only trying to be practical, transphy. You seem to be talking down to us by being unable to assess that we all know what 'downtown' or 'heritage' is and making reading this thread impossible by piling up useless information.

@Katia. It is probably safe to keep the English and give the Greek translation in brackets.

Σας ευχαριστώ ειλικρινά. Ναι, αναφέρεται σε αξιοθέατο περιοχής του Καναδά αλλά δεν μπορώ να καταλάβω αν πραγματικά είναι ονομασία περιοχής. Είναι με κεφαλαίο αλλά πάλι όλα με κεφαλαία τα έχει πχ. ακόμη και το Fly-Fishing (on the Elk River), οπότε ακόμη δεν έχω βεβαιωθεί.

You were too quick to give a misleading answer, and I do not see why you are being so antagonistic. I expressed MY understanding of the term and produced supporting evidenc. If you don't want to read it, it's OK by me. If you think YOURS is right, well, leave it to the 'asker' to decide. Why are you patronizing? You, and the others you carried with you, were quick to shoot me down. That's unacceptable, really. In the forum there is' agrree, disagree, neutral', for anybody to express their ideas.

The 'City of London' is NOT part of the English Heritage!!!!???? More than 'Kolonaki' is part of the Heritage of Greece.

Transphy, είμαι βέβαιος ότι γνωρίζεις ότι το "ιστορικό κέντρο" είναι συνήθως "the historic centre" και η συγκεκριμένη ονομασία (Heritage Downtown) με κεφαλαία αρχικά είναι πολύ πιθανό να αφορά συγκεκριμένες τοποθεσίες. To 'Heritage' ΔΕΝ είναι ''ονομα'' της πόλης αλλά η 'κληρονομιά' μιας Χώρας. The Parthenon is part of the heritage of Greece.
