להדליק את הזיקוק הכחול ולפרוש Explanation: I could only find Touchpaper in answers.com: www.answers.com/topic/touchpaper and they call it נייר הצתה. In Babylon they only give the English: touchpaper = n. paper soaked in saltpeter that is lit to to start firework I think it's safe to go a bit wider and refer to the whole firework. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 7 mins (2007-12-11 22:17:03 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Does that go well with the context? |

להדליק את הפתיל ולהתרחק Explanation: Without context Ron could be right. But the blue touch paper is the fuse used in fireworks, and the retire part means to retire to a safe distance after the fuse is lit. These are safety instructions that appear or appeared on fireworks. I don't know if it is used a term for describing something else or not. But that is the context I know of. I hope this will help somehow |
