we are paying meshalmim Explanation: If you want to say We are paying", the literal translation is "anakhnu meshalmim." However, if the guy who is opening the door is telling the guy with the money to come to the door and pay, and you want this to sound how people actually speak, you could have him say: "Bo, shalem!" which means "Come, pay!" or "Udi, shalem al hapizza!" meaning "Udi [or whatever his name is], pay for the pizza!" Israelis wouldn't usually use the pronoun in the sentence. |
