The point I was making is about internal consistency in their usage. Certain sets of words go together. For example, उत्तर with प्रश्न, सवाल with जवाब। Would it not look odd if you used, सवाल-उतर or प्रश्न-जवाब? That was what I was trying to indicate. If you use कोमल, then the word that fits best with it is something like अनुभूति। कोमलता का एहसास is also passable, because ता is a ठेठ Hindi प्रत्यय. But if you had written कौमल्य एहसास instead, I would have objected even more strongly. Hindi uses words from various sources, Hindi, Sanskrit, Arabi-Farsi. Mixing the sources can give rise to inelegant prose. |
