I am also not here to argue Brother. I wanted to express my thoughts and I have done so. You may be right in your domain, but you cant be right in other people's domain all the time.

Brother I am not here to argue over anything ! here discussion is about Standardized terms !! (which are already standards of the world) and I am sorry to say Implosion is not one of them!

This is not only in case of english to Punjabi/hindi but same is the case with Punjabi/hindi to English.

Moreover ! This situation is similar while translation of Punjabi into english

Do you think you translate word like "tehsil" "panchayat" "khewat number" " Khasra Number" , because these are standards used in India.

Dear Brother, Basic role of translator is not to transliterate any new word thrown at him. Instead he/she should use his/her brain to devise new words for newly coined English terms. If everyone goes by like you, we would have transliterated word 'implosion' because it is too easy to do so. However hard-working university scholars devised a new word "ਅੰਤਰ-ਵਿਸਫੋਟ' and it s part of dictionary now.

There are more than 10 lakh words in English language. If we translators start transliterating each newly coined English term, our desi languages will vanish one day. So my opinion is it is our duty to think over and find suitable translation for each newly coined English term as far as it is practicable. Once we start using these terms in our translations, our readers will come to know about them and this is the only way to popularize them.

It is very easy to make short-cuts and resort to transliteration but if we continue to do so, one day Hindi will be Hinglish and Punjabi will be Punglish.

Standardized term ka matlab hota hai !! jo standard हो !!
जो भाषा के साथ न बदले !

Thats why I said "specially when term is not used in india"
इसका हिंदी अनुवाद भी प्रचलित नहीं है|

Terms like "over the counter", इसका अनुवाद तो दिया जा सकता है क्योंकि यह प्रमाणित शब्दावली नहीं है !!

AND, this is actually major difference between localization and translation.

CO-PAY का न तो हिंदी में कोई समानार्थी पहले से प्रचलन में है और न ही को-पे शब्द स्वयं में हिंदी में प्रचलित है। मेरे विचार से ऐसी स्थितियों में बेहतर है कि जो अनुवाद प्रस्तुत किया जाए उसके साथ कोष्ठक में लिप्यंतरण भी अवश्य दिया जाए।

1 thing I don't understand ! Why translators translates standardized terms specially when term is not used in India itself?
CO-PAY is a standardized term .

Here is full article which defines rules and regulations related to it and
"Partial payment" JUST 1 PART OF IT.

Why translators Pick up the part of it and translate it accordingly ? Its like someone is Translating my name into "every-heart" IN ENGLISH DOC, which is weird.

If you use Hindi term for it, you are actually restraining reader from actual detail which is "huge negative point" as from translator point of view.

SO My recommendation is either use Transliteration for it, if not Write Transliteration in brackets with hindi term.
