A kolléga hozzászólását nem tudom értelmezni. Hogy mitől "gyűjtő? Hát definíció szerint. Az ő fordításában is szerepel a gyűjtemény. Ez nem érv.
Hogy mitől oldal? Hát megintcsak definíió szerint: "a website".
A szöveggyűjtemény fogalmilag egy hasznos dolog. Mindannyian forgattunk szöveggyűjteményt irodalomórán, ennek van internetes verziója.
A szöveggyűjtemény jó dolog.
A lefordítandó fogalom azonban egy olyan weboldalt jelent, ahol csak és kizárólag azért gyűjtenek össze rengeteg de rengeteg tartalmat, hogy a keresőmotorok indexelésekor magas pontszámot elérve a találati lista tetején legyenek, és így tegyenek szert bevételre. Ez benne van a definícióban, kedves András, el kéne olvasni. Bitte.
Lehet, hogy a gyűjtőoldal nem fejezik ki eléggé azt, hogy mi az ilyen oldalak célja, de abban egészen biztosak lehetünk, hogy ezek az oldalak a szöveggyűjteményeknek pontosan az ellenkezői. Bitte.

No  Andras Szekany: mitől "gyűjtő" és mitől "oldal" bitte? (még ha valamikor saját fordítása is volt....)

  -> A definíció első részére igaz a fordításod. Erre: "A website that contains very large quantities of content" De a szöveggyűjtemény szó mennyiben adja vissza a keresőmotorokra optimalizálást? Az egész fogalomnak ez a lényege. Ezt meg tudod indokolni?
