Lényegében olyan alapítvány, amelyet egy vagy több jótevő hoz létre, egy bizonyos célra (pl. elhelyez x összeget és annak mindenkori hozamát megadott célra kell fordítani, a tőke meg marad ugyanannyi).
(Már valamelyik másik kérdésnél mondtam, hogy ezek adóügyi megfeleltetések, nem cégformák.)

Talán érdemes lenne megnézni az amerikai "trösztök" (valójában vagyonkezelők) ismertetését (az angol nyelvű Wikipedia szerintem megbízható).

Explanation:
Ez pedig (szintén nyomozásom szerint) attól aktív, hogy az alapítónak is hozhat jövedelmet, az alapító bizonyos tulajdonjogokat (részesedésszerű jogot) és döntési jogot is megtart magának.

Maga a bizalmi vagyon egyébként jogi személyként viselkedhet adózás szempontjából, ezért kerülhetett a listába.

Asker: Nekem innen az jön le, ami ugye elsőre kézenfekvő volt, de nem hittem, hogy ilyen egyszerű: ebben az esetben a trust fordítása tröszt.

neutral  Eva Blanar: A tröszt "kicsit" más magyarul - a trust a _rábízott_ eszközökkel gazdálkodik, egyébként egy sima befektetési alap vagy társaság. A forrás más: nem gyűjti a pénzt, hanem kapja, sokszor egyetlen összegben (nálunk ezt alapítványnak nevezzük aztán).
