English term or phrase: null model with the variables time and country fitted
Forrásszöveg: 'A null model with the variables time and country fitted using depression data from 6 and 12 months revealed that the rate of onset declined during the 6- to 12-month interval to 71% (95% CI 61–84) of its rate between baseline and 6 months. A similar model for recovery showed a reduction in the rate of recovery between 6 and 12 months to 61% (95% CI 52–72) of its rate between baseline and 6 months.'
A 'null model'-re ezeket találtam magyarázatként:
http://www.websters-online-dictionary.org/definitions/null m...
http://www.simulistics.com/simile-teaching-resources/null-mo...
Ez utóbbi szerint: 'In statistical text books the null model is not usually mentioned explicitly. Instead the null hypothesis, and the the assmptions of a test are presented, but the null hypothesis and the assumptions are really specifying an underlying null model.'
Tehát a 'null model'-t akkor nem lehet nullhipotézisnek fordítani? Van erre valamilyen más magyar kifejezés?

nullmodell
Explanation:
Ilyenkor olyan modellből indulunk ki (jórészt szekvenciális számítási algoritmusoknál), amely nem veszi figyelembe a változók közötti korrelációkat (azaz a regressziós együtthatók értékét).

Ezeket a modelleket magyar oldalakon is általában nullmodellnek (esetleg valamiféle kiindulási modellnek) nevezik:

A nullhipotézist semmiképp nem használnám, az statisztikai próbáknál egy kiindulási "tézismondatot" jelent, amelyre végül a próbából azt a választ kapjuk, hogy "igen, teljesül", vagy azt, hogy "nem, nem teljesül", és ez alapján tudunk statisztikailag alátámasztott állítást megfogalmazni.
