Az alábbi kifejezés egy sátrak szövetanyagának vizsgálatáról szóló jegyzőkönyvből származik, többek között az alábbi mondatból:
"Ground fastening
The ground tensioner and its fastening shall be taken from the tent fabric in the form of a strip having a width of 5 cm (three test specimens)."

Addig világos, hogy a sátor talajhoz rögzítéséről van szó, illetve azokról az anyagokról, amelyekkel ezt elvégzik.

Kempingsátrak esetén ez az a pánt lesz, ami kívül, a sátor sarkain és az oldalai közepén van. (Szerintem nem az erős szélben, a sátor lefeszítését szolgáló kötélről, zsinegről van szó.) Ezt támasztja alá, hogy 5 cm vastagságú mintát tesztelnek, és hogy arról szól a szöveg, hogy a sátor anyagából van (be taken from the tent fabric).
