Explanation:
Ini istilah umum dalam marketing, berkaitan dengan tahap pemasaran suatu produk. Cuma saja dalam konteks ini produk yang dimaksud adalah obat.
Memang jadinya terjemahannya agak panjang, tetapi saya rasa kalau hanya "obat-obat mapan" bisa agak rancu, nanti dikira mapan dalam hal khasiat, padahal mapan dari segi pasar saja.
Dan saya rasa berakhirnya masa paten tidak berperan di sini.
