English term or phrase: ASP enable parent paths
I am translating a website for a Company that provides Domains for websites, and I came across this sentence "ASP enable parent paths". Now I understand that ASP is Application Service Provider, but "enable" without an "S" in the end? Is it a mistake or something else I am not aware of?

But what I am really at a loss is "parent path". I am guessing it refers to directory paths... or am I wrong? What would be the correct translation? "percorso superiore"? "percorso parente"? "percorso padre"? "percorso genitore"? "percorso principale"? I have thought of all these options, but I would like to be really sure instead.

I don't know anything else about the context in which that sentence is found, as I am translating sentence by sentence from a Zeta database... fun, fun, fun!

Please help. Thank you.

asp enable parent paths
percorsi genitori [o principali] per abilitazione ASP

Explanation:

asp enable parent paths
ASP Enable Parent Paths

Explanation:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/iis/application-frameworks/...
