I am translating a report for an online child safety project. I am not sure about the meaning of the words "first order" in the sentence below

Information presented in this report includes key industry case study vignettes; an initial first order thematic analysis of stakeholder interviews across each country (n=43); and the current descriptive statistics of the cross-country police.

In sociologia, e più nello specifico nella cosiddetta fenomenologia sociologica, esistono due concetti distinti: osservazioni di primo ordine (first-order observation) e osservazioni di secondo ordine (second-order observation).
Semplificando il più possibile, le osservazioni di primo ordine non sono altro che le "informazioni" dell'ambiente esterno colte da una persona, cioè quello che viene visto/percepito. Visto che si parla di case study, interviste e statistiche descrittive, penso che l'aggettivo "first order" faccia riferimento ad un determinato tipo di approccio sociologico.
