Asker: Grazie, lo avevo visto ma mi sembra sia applicabile a sostanze chimiche. Qui si tratat di un breakdown meccanico, quando i granelli della sabbia usata per il processo di sabbiatura colpiscono la superficie trattata e si "disintegrano" per l'impatto ad alta pressione, non tanto si degradano. Explanation:
A temperature sotto zero il policarbonato diventa fragile e la superficie del granulato si erode a causa degli urti e delle sollecitazioni all'interno del ciclo di sbavatura.
Questa erosione (breakdown rate) aumenta mano a mano che la temperatura si abbassa, fino a che il granulo si frantuma durante l'impatto.
