(他人の内に可能性を認め)その才能を信じる Explanation: 簡単にthe best=その人の最も良いところ、長所、才能、etc. それをbelieve inすることができる人、こっちのほうが要かなと思います。信じてあげられる、そんなニュアンスだと思います。 つまり、人を否定的に見るのではなく、ひとりひとりの中に伸びる可能性を見出し、その人の良い面を信じて寄り添って、あるいは導いてくれる、というイメージではないでしょうか。 |

他人の一番いいところを見る Explanation: I think in this case "seeing potential" and "believing the best in others" are related but separate concepts.
