コミッショニング Explanation: The カタカナ流し might seem like a cop-out, but in my experience this is the term commonly used in the construction industry. The web reference below has all the information you need, including a detailed definition of the word. Also, in my experience, the difference between commissioning and testing is that testing is done to SEE if the thing works and commissioning to PROVE that it does.
