1 | おべっかを使ううぬぼれ屋 |
|
おべっかを使ううぬぼれ屋 Explanation: As this is slang, finding a one-to-one match is going to be difficult. This is my best guess. おべっかを使う: Is a verb that means to kiss up to, flatter, brown-nose, or act like a sycophant or yes-man. うぬぼれ屋: Means someone stuck on themselves, or full of themselves...a "big head". The word is formed from the words うぬ + ほれる、("self" + "in love with"). So a "おべっかを使ううぬぼれ屋" describes someone with an inflated ego that goes around sucking up to people... You might even say: 世間知らずおべっかを使ううぬぼれ屋 or "A big-head suck up that doesn't know jack" "An arrogant kiss ass that doesn't know (explitive)" ...hmmm...I'm curious what do the others think? |
