English to Latin translations [Non-PRO]
Music / Dog latin lyric translation needs some TLC :(
English term or phrase: "The stars remind me that light shines from the past"
I've been fiddling with translations (poorly) for a while and decided to admit defeat and ask for help. The closest I can get are the two tries here..

astrum moneo mihi iste lux lucet(lucis?) ex antea

and

astrum commemoro mihi iste lux lucet fulsi ex antea

neither seem to be grammatically correct and I am in serious need of some red ink corrections. Any help would be much appreciated.
