Tu es filia in quo Deus sibi complacuit Explanation: This sounds like a paraphrase of Matthew 3:17, where a voice from heaven says about Jesus, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased"--in the Latin Vulgate, "Hic est filius meus dilectus, in quo mihi complacui." I tried to recall an earlier mistaken answer, but don't know how! |
