neutral  Andra Tomase: Well, I guess, it depends on the origin of the respective person. If we are sure she is Russian, we may use Taņa/Tatjana (Tanya/Tatyana). Yet, she might be American or British or whoever else... Then, Tania (Tanya) would be more appropriate.
