The usage of the terms "interrupted or interfered" in this case is not a Insurance/Legal Industry jargon.Rather, they are general English Language words being used in an Insurance and Legal Industry sentence.

As to the root word 'gendala', it is also a good alternative which carries the same meaning. Another would be 'halang'. However, 'kegendalaan' is grammatically awkward, if not outright incorrect. The correct words from the roots 'gendala' and 'halang' within the context of the sentence would be 'TERGENDALA' and 'TERHALANG'.

For example, interruptions of TV broadcast due to bad weather are ALWAYS announced as " SIARAN TERGENDALA SEBENTAR", and NEVER " KEGENDALAAN SIARAN SEBENTAR".

I hope my answer is of help to you, and I welcome further reply/feedback. Thank You.

Asker: interfered could be translated as kegendalaan right? Would that be a better option?
