Alas, as his notable critics at the English Bar have pointed out, the 1998 *civil* justice and anti-Pontius Pilate = anti.Latin terminology 'streamlining' reforms of the ex-UK Master of the Rolls, Judge Woolf (whose sons even more maddeningly used to jump the bus queue in front of me outside of the courts in Central London), have failed to simplify - rather obfuscated - the legal language of civil justice.
