"The majority of CRI dogs suffer from inapetency or anorexia due to the effect of uremic toxins on the gastrointestinal mucosa."

After a brief research about the subject I reach the conclusion that in this case CRI means constant rate infusion, but yet I struggle to understand this concept and then be able to do a correct translation. But again after 12 straight hours translating veterinary stuff, my mind is probably not as clear as it should be.
