English term or phrase: Flat F-Stop Ramping
Hi, guys! I am an advanced amateur photographer and I understand what f-stops, iris (diaphragm), aperture, etc. mean. However, I could not grasp the meaning of "flat f-stop ramping". Would this mean a continuous f-stop adjustment made by the camera? Or would this be some sort of f-stop lock? Any professional camera crew around? Thanks in advance!

Explanation:

Exposure Ramping is a method by which the shutter speed (or the duration of exposure) and/or ISO (how sensitive your camera is to light) change(s) over the course of your time lapse.

Speed ramping, or simply "ramping", is a process whereby the capture frame rate of the camera changes over time.
