Estou um pouco confusa relativamente à definição de "dotted line" nas seguintes frases:

"First, please identify your direct leader(s) or manager(s) - i.e., the person (or people) to whom you report directly or **via a dotted line*."

"These should be colleagues you lead, and with whom you have a direct or a **dotted reporting line**."

Relativamente a isto, o cliente respondeu: "A dotted line manager may be someone whom you report to, but is not your direct line manager on an organizational chart."
