contabil Explanation: In Romania there are only three types of accountant roles one can legally have: insarcinat cu contabilitatea primara / contabil / expert contabil "Insarcinat cu contabilitatea primara" can be any type of staff, no matter previous qualifications. High school diploma is sufficient to undertake the responsibilities for this role. The role is merely to collect and arrange the documents that needs to be accountable kept and interpreted by an accountant or expert accountant. "Contabil" can be a person that has economical studies and can interpret the accountable document and can also prepare the balance sheet and all other documents legally bound for accountancy. It does the right to sign these document, only together with the CEO of the represented organisation for which the accountancy is made. I think "revenue accountant" stands for the regular "contabil" role. "Expert contabil" does the same job as the "contabil", has a special authorisation (certification from peers) and is able to sign individually the accountable reports and assume full responsibility.
