Contingent Offer means: There is some reason the seller and/or the buyer might not close escrow. It’s a notice that the agreement could fall apart and the property could be available to purchase soon. Usually the type of thing that makes an offer “contingent” is the seller advised the buyer that they will only sell if (contingent upon) they can find a new home prior to close of escrow.

Poate fi tradus si ca "oferta conditionata" in sensul ca oferta este acceptata de catre comparator dar este conditionata de inspectia proprietatii sau de obtinerea finantarii de exemplu. Daca in urma inspectiei se constata ca proprietatea are problem majore, oferta poate fi anulata.
