Third party order is also known as 'drop shipping'. Deci principalul care primeste comanda nu are stoc sau inventory of that product, ci trimite comanda la third-party (individual, company, manufacturer, etc), which fulfills the order.

Aici in State, sunt multe companii/fabrici care lasa pe small business owners to use drop shipping, in schimb la un comision. The advantage to the small business owner is that he does not have to take delivery of the products, and ONLY sends and order when he HAS an order (guaranteed sale).

Asker: Eu l-am tradus până acum drept "comandă cu parte terță." Am vrut inițial să-l traduc ca și tine folosind "prin intermediul," dar mi se părea prea lungă traducerea și am găsit soluția de mai sus. Totodată, deoarece expresia originală este ambiguă, nefiind clar cine e terțul din cele două definiții de mai sus, am dorit să păstrez ambiguitatea și ambivalența termenului din engleză, iar "cu parte terță" mi se părea cea mai bună soluție. Doream și alte opinii, deoarece există probleme cu glosarul și plângeri. De exemplu, "recharge" nu a fost tradus, până când l-am tradus eu cu "refacturare." În fine, mă bucur că suntem cât de cât de acord.
