tamna struja Definition from CET čitalište: Tamna struja se može definisati kao nepoželjno naelektrisanje koje se prikuplja u CCD pikse-lima usled prirodnih termalnih procesa koji se pojavljuju dok uređaj radi na bilo kojoj temperaturi iznad apsolutne nule. Na bilo kojoj temperaturi parovi elektrona i šupljina slučajno se stvaraju i rekombinuju u silicijumu i na granici silicijuma i silicijum dioksida. U zavisnosti od toga gde su stvoreni, neki od tih elektrona će se prikupiti u CCD izvorima i lažno prikazati kao naelektrisanja signala na izlazu.
