Pretpostavljam da je suprotno od termina front-end marketing, tj. direktni marketing.

Marketing je već jedna domaća riječ na srpskohrvatskom jeziku a back-end ili bek-end (zavisno od jezičkog konteksta) se upotrebljava često kad se govori i piše o nekim kompjuterskim programima, tako da je "back-end marketing" ili "bek-end marketing" jedan prirodan izbor u ovom slučaju, za ovaj novi savremeni pojam.
