Sorry, maybe I was slightly confusing previously and since you've declared English monolingual as your working language pair I will try to clarify it in English:

In distillation the liquid evaporates and we have a solid residue (heel = ostatak), but in metallurgy we have the opposite: we have a liquid residue (liquid heel = tečni ostatak). Hope this helps.
