Prevod, naravno, zavisi od toga da li se radi o naslovu na naslovnoj strani ("glava) ili tekstu u "editorial"-u ("impresum").

Masthead je glava lista, tj. naslov lista sa svojim karakteristicnim likovnim resenjemm uz nekoliko osnovnih podataka, kao sto je datum izlazenja, broj izdanja i sl. Na ovim linkovima lepo se vidi da se pojmom masthead oznacava glava lista, a ne impresum:

Zbunjuje, medjutim, sto blizi opis koji ste dali ispod pitanja zaista odgovara onome sto se kod nas naziva impresum (adresa redakcije, telefoni, imena urednika, izdavac, osnivac, stamparija i mnostvo drugih podataka).
Dakle, nije jasno na koji deo novina/casopisa se odnosi vase pitanje, a u zavisnosti od toga odgovor je ili glava ili impresum.
