I have never been very good at remembering dreams, nor had I thought about the
possibility of being able to communicate with other people in their dreams. But
there was no getting around the fact that four people had shared the same dream with
me.

Bueno eso, la expresión "No getting around the fact...". Según mi parecer quiere decir que no había forma de evitar/explicar el hecho de que ...

"Pero es innegable que cuatro personas habían compartido conmigo el mismo sueño"
