UPDATE (after a long dreaming day...)

Good morning, Lida:

Today is a very sunny day here in riverside of the Rhine and before to begin my working day I was thinking about the term “bloom” again.

I read the proposal of other Proz’s member and I think it is a reasonable explanation but it is not an exciting translation like “floración”.

Bilingual Vocabulary:
In Spanish “efecto” = in English: “effect”
In Spanish “luminoso” = in English: “luminous” (emitting light) (poor, normal, strong)

1) To say: “efecto luminoso” doesn’t mean a strong luminous effect. How many luminous effects we find in the Universe?
1.1. The luminous effect of the light of a candle in a vault of an underground grave.
1.2. The lukewarm light of a room in winter that never receives the rays of the sun.
1.3. The strong luminous effect of the flower seasons and the shining days.

2) From the other side, “floración” always is a bloom effect independently if you are immerse in a sea of roses or walking across the field ready for the harvest. This term always reflects a very special luminous effect like the 3D games of Unity 3.5, a software that moves you into very realistic scenes and in an atmosphere that help you to play better against humanoids and with virtual real objects.

When the software engineers of Unity 3.5 described the improvement of the new software with the term “bloom” were thinking in the strong luminous effect of the flower seasons and the shining days, or immerse in a sea of roses, or walking across the field ready for the harvest.

If you don’t like the translation of “floración”, my new proposal now includes five new suggestions:

1) “intenso efecto luminoso”
2) “poderoso efecto luminoso”
3) “vivaz efecto luminoso”
4) “colorido efecto luminoso”
5) “brillante efecto luminoso”
