Port Link Up/Down

Spanish translation: enlace/conexión de puerto en activa/inactiva

English term or phrase: Port Link Up/Down
I can't tell if this is referring to a uplink and downlink ( enlace ascendente/descendente) and if not how to express when the Port link goes up and down.

Any thoughts??? Thanks

Me da la sensación de que se refiere al estado de conexión del puerto, y que up/down se refiere a conectado/desconectado.

Por lo tanto yo iría por "enlace de puerto activo/inactivo".

Pero en vez de enlace podría ser conexión. O en vez de activo/inactivo podría ser en línea/fuera de línea.
