If you read the recipe in question you'll see that in the case of the three mentioned ingredients you do not add the whole amount at once; i.e., you use 3 tbs oil and at another stage the other two. But the total amount for the recipe is 5 tbs.
You can just ignore the word "divided", both for translation and cooking purposes.
