English term or phrase: torque
This is an item that appears on a digital display for a rotating food packaging machine for Mexico. There is no context as to what part it refers to. My question is whether I should use "torque" or "par" in Mexican Spanish. (There are also displays that mention thermocouple and I am afraid "par" might be confused with "termopar".)

Is one of these better than the other for torque?

Explanation:
The term "torque" in Spanish is widely used in Colombia at least. Both in the common engineering as in the highly technical environment. I can also attest it is used in the scientific environment (I am a physicist). The term is well defined and leaves no possibility for misinterpretation.
