English term or phrase: aired up
A co-worker was setting up a job on the blown film line, while the helper set the shaft.
As the operator started to put the line into production, he noticed the shaft was not aired up and went to adjust it.
As he did, the shaft popped into place and caught his finger between the shaft and holder.

tenía presión de aire
Explanation:
Según Merriam-Webster:

Definition of air up:
to inflate or fill (something) with air
We aired up the tires, gassed up the tanks, and drove on out of Monroe at noon. — John Dufresne, Requiem, Mass., 2008
