English term or phrase: malding
This is a portmanteau of "mad" and "balding", but I can't find any option I like for a translation. Can anyone help?

Here's an explanation of the origin:

“Malding” is a combination of two words. You have “mad” on the one hand and “balding” on the other. Ergo, it literally means that someone is both mad and balding. And, when used, it usually means that someone is so mad that they are starting to go bald.

Spanish translation:perder los nervios/estribos
Explanation:
Malding
When someone is so mad they start losing their hair, a contraction of mad and balding.

Is a differentway of saying that someone is losing one's hair while doing somethig.

That's how I see it.

Hope it helps

Explanation:
or any equivalent for "nuts" more suited to Iberia, if as I think, you are looking for a slang term, this might do.

Or how about "pelado descabellado"'?

(sacar) canas verdes

Explanation:
¡Hola, Marcos!:

Todo dependerá del contexto y de la cultura meta. En varios países de Latinoamérica, por ejemplo, esta es una expresión reconocida que se usa para comunicar una realidad similar a la de malding. Me agrada porque también alude a la idea de que el enojo afecta el cabello.

Example sentence(s):
