Reference: Refs./Comments only Reference information: I have found three references to the term "out counting", all relating to the University of Nottingham, UK. This is a guess at best, but the only thing I can think of, and I would not necessarily say logical either. However, I wonder if "out counting" has anything to do with "paid work placement during the 2nd year, "September to December" with one of the "big four" accounting firms, such as PwC. "out" + "counting" (i.e. out of university environment in accounting to gain work experience).
