máquinas expendedoras de tentempiés [o sandwich] Explanation: Hi Jackie! After living 24 years in Mexico, I can most definitely assure you that the word "snack" is NEVER used here. The closest "anglicism" you would find here...and is actually very common, would be "sandwich". However, the more correct word here for "snack food" would be "tentempié".
