Se firmo el Acta de la Idependencia en cuidad Guatemala el 15 de setiembre de 1821, asi se idependizaba La Capitania General de Guatemala y sus provicias, incluyendo CR. No llego el acta de idependencia a Cartago, Costa Rica, sino hasta el 29 de octubre de ese mismo año. La independencia de Centro america en General se celebra el 15 de setiembre, independientemente de la fecha en que cada provincia recibio su acta de idependencia.

Panama has a particular situation


Explanation:
Panama: March 11th is nowhere near the truth. This date has no significance in that country.

Panama became independent from Spain on November 28th, 1821 and shortly thereafter joined "La Gran Colombia". Years later, November 3rd, 1903 (with considerable gunboat diplomacy from the US) this country seceded form that oraganisation.
