Buenas tardes:

Estoy subtitulando un documental del inglés al español (de España), que narra la historia de un explorador galés que se embarcó rumbo a América del Norte en 1792, donde años después contrajo la malaria. Esta parte en cuestión procede de su diario donde poco antes ha hablado de la fiebre intermitente y los delirios que le provoca la malaria. Tengo la transcripción, pero creo que aquí hay un error ya que al escuchar la palabra en cuestión, se oye claramente una "s". He estado buscando palabras que me pudieran tener sentido en este contexto y "eperisone" es un fármaco, pero es mucho más moderno. ¿Se os ocurre qué palabra podría ser?
