Se trata de una cesión de una patente, la frase es la siguiente: "For good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and subject to any license and non-assert commitments entered into prior to the Effective Date". Entiendo lo que quiere decir, pero me gustaría saber si existe una expresión en castellano. ¿Compromisos sin ejercer/no ejercidos? Muchas gracias.

non-assert: renunciar (a ejercitar un derecho, por ejemplo).
