I know that lampoonery is the practice of ridiculing or mocking a person or a situation, a satire. However, I can't find a "sophisticated" word in Spanish that could translate the same meaning.

It appears in the novel I am translating and in the following context:
A man arranges a Bangladeshi catering, and when the responsible arrives to his house with the food, the man asks him if this is exactly the kind of food he would ear in his country. The response is: "It does not taste the same, the ingredients are not equal, this is a... (and here he looks for a word)... a ++lampoonery++".
The translation has to be a non usual word in Spanish, as the customer thinks that it's an Indian word or the name of a curry!

Con su eco de la palabra 'carne' (eco por otra parte etimológicamente auténtico!) es posible que funcione bien para el otro nivel del chiste, es decir, que se malentienda como el nombre de un plato típico.
También me gusta la alternativa 'bartolada'.

Explanation:
Como chacoteo suena a "chacota", pero es poco usual, puede dar al lector la idea de lo que quiere decir, y a la vez sonar exótico/indio.
Con "chifla" pasa lo mismo, y además puede pronunciarse de tal forma que suene a indio...

Por último "remedo", que recoge exactamente la idea de imitación, y especialmente la imitación que se burla de lo imitado o no le llega a la altura. Al ser algo culta, puede entenderse que el oyente la tomara al principio por extranjera.

No serían traducciones directas de 'lampoonery', pero tal y como se expone en el texto, el personaje lo considera una tomadura de pelo, una broma.

Al menos estas dos me podrían sonar a comida:

Una buena cuchufleta frita o la famosa chufla que se usa en Valencia para hacer horchatla. ;O) ;O)

Una de las mayores carcajadas que he soltado leyendo la traducción de un menú (supongo que muchos tenemos esta deformación profesional!) fue en uno que ofrecía:

Pork chop (u otra carne, no recuerdo) "with garrison".

Venía con todo, ¡desde el soldado raso hasta el capitán general! :D :D
