Let's see if someone can lend me a hand with this phrase. Here is some context:

FWIW, I think Juan Gil's suggestion comes closest to the intended meaning. "Nada de lo anterior contribuyó a mi(s) conocimiento(s)" would be my proposal. Again, it's still odd in English.

Natalia, sorry, but I hope you don't mind; Joshua: Perhaps you missed an earlier exchange between Natalia and myself where I asked her to outline her understanding of what the role was, and Natalia then said "It refers to the role the above-mentioned entities has played in the person acquiring the financial knowledge." Natalia subsequently posted the context (the listing). Perhaps the starting point would be for Natalia to tell us given the options we provided : None of the above (listed) played any role in my acquiring the (necessary) financial knowledge", or your phrasing "None of the above played any role in my (acquiring the financial) knowledge, as far as I know/I am aware .....", or words to that effect. Natalia can then run with these options. IMO, I think Juan Gil's option below is what is meant without going through significant rewording: "Nada de lo anterior [tuvo]/[ha tenido]/[desempeñó] un rol en mis conocimientos." O, "Puedo decir, con franqueza, que nada de eso me ayudó a aprender de Finanzas personales.", o algo por el estilo. Natalia: ¿Es tu entendimiento? Saludos! Stay safe!
Sorry, perhaps I didn't explain myself clearly. I didn't mean to say you hadn't provided context. You have. What I meant was unless there's any reference in the rest of the text, i.e. OTHER context besides what you have given us, echoing Taña's comments. Read "any other unprovided context".
Absolutely agree with you 100%, and perhaps Natalia could consider rephrasing for clarity sake, and being specific in saying perhaps, "None of the above (listed) played any role in my acquiring the (necessary) financial knowledge", or your phrasing "None of the above played any role in my (acquiring the financial) knowledge, as far as I know/I am aware .....", or words to that effect, if that is what Natalia understands, yourself and other contributors to this question. If everyone understood, then perhaps one of the other proposed answers below may work! IMO, it really does need rewording, but that choice is not mine! Warm regards to all!
OK, I think I understand why it says "in" now; they meant "none of the above played any role in my knowledge", i.e. in forming my knowledge. Still seems odd, though.
I agree with Taña; it should be "to my knowledge". Even so, the use of "no role", as phrased, is odd unless the reference is clear from (unprovided) context. It should be rephrased in English, but I expect it means "None of the above played any role (= contributed), as far as I know."
Thank you. As I said in my initial remark, "no role in my knowledge" is ungrammatical! If that is the understanding (and if everyone agrees), one would say "No role TO my knowledge" or "No role TO (the best of) my knowledge". Anyway, continue to stay safe!
The last line (again)! What "role" are they referencing -as what? Do you know? From other context (not provided) is this something you can determine? Thanks.

where you have a list of sources of knowledge in Spanish, the English text could be a misplaced possible answer or box to be ticked (ie, the source "played no role in my knowledge" and the answer from Beatriz would be correct.
Is this how the text appears with one line in English (you are going into Spanish, correct?); or you have already translated most of the text and left the one line in English? Mi propia investigación ... No role in my knowledge, should read "No role TO my knowledge"! Regards.

Explanation: I think they wanted to indicate that none of the other options applied. It would better match the question "What role did xx play in your knowledge." Maybe they reused this response from a different set of questions and didn't update it? (I have seen that happen a lot.)
