La estimulación eléctrica *programada* induce la taquicardia ventricular, en condiciones súper controladas, con carro de reanimación cardiopulmonar a mano. Se hace para diagnosticar el tipo preciso de arritmia y así poder indicar ya sea un desfibrilador implantable con marcapaso biventricular (y función antitaquicardia), ablación por radiofrecuencia, o drogas.
